So I decided to add this to my blog in hopes that the one day I will get a follower besides my friend Carrie, and everyone else will get to know me just a little bit better! I found this idea from Jonie over at Just Between Friends whose blog I follow, who found the idea from Amy over at The Idea Room. So here goes it...
I love to procrastinate. It has always been what I like to call a “good attribute of mine”. The main thing I procrastinate with is homework. For some reason I work really well under pressure. If a paper was due in 4 weeks I would work on it the first day and then wouldn’t work on it again until the week it was due. Then that week I would just put it off continuously until when the last day came I figured I better get going on it. Even the day it was due I would always wait until the last 3 hours or so to get serious to get the task at hand done. I don’t know what it is, but I always procrastinated at homework (thank god I am done with school……for now).
I just applied to the Masters program at Columbia College (where I got my Bachelor’s degree). The application is done but I still have to get three people do a recommendation for me and complete a goal statement. I really hope I do not procrastinate on this. I know I want this degree I am just SCARED OUT OF MY MIND to do it! On top of that….my husband is not too happy that I decided to go forth for the Masters. He was SO happy that I was done with college and we would finally be able to look towards the future and starting a family, but I told him….what is two more years?

I am one of one of 9 kids. Not literally…..My father has been married 4 times. His first marriage he had no children. On his second marriage my mother and him had myself as well as my two younger brothers. Once he and my mother divorced, my father remarried a lady who had two other children which to this day I still consider my step-brother and sister even though legally, they are not anymore (this wife and my father got divorced after 10 years together). Then on my father’s fourth marriage, he married a lady who had 3 boys so this adds in another 3 step-brothers. Lastly, when my mother remarried she had a child with that husband who is considered to be my half-sister. Whew….is anyone else’s family as messed up as mine?
I am the only child out of the 9 who has completed college. My two biological brothers and my half-sister are all High School drop outs.
I want a baby SO bad! I am obsessed with babies. I have made numerous onesies, burp cloths, blankets, hair bows, and anything else you can think of and I am not even pregnant. I can’t wait for the day that I get pregnant!
We are still paying off our wedding. But it was well worth it! That day was the most memorable day of my life and I would never take it back!
I went to Guatemala for 9 days with my Community College to do volunteer work. We stayed with local families and lived the way they did for almost all of those 9 days. After that trip I no longer take my life for granted and everyday appreciate the things I have, especially running HOT water!
I love sports. My favorite teams are the Chicago Cubs (the only thing the Sox’s have is a World Series….whoop de do!) and the Chicago Bears. I really do not care for any other sport besides football and baseball.
In my mind I have a list of my goals and dreams. On my honeymoon one of those dreams came true. I got to swim with dolphins!!
And lastly.....
I love meeting celebrities or anyone “famous”. There is just something about them that makes me all excited! I am one of those typical people that get all red in the face and have no clue what to say but would probably pee my pants if you talked to me while walking by you in the streets type of person. Oh boy! I don’t know…I just love it!
Most recently, Mario Batali
There ya have it! Thanks for reading!
